A luxury B&B in the heart of Northumberland

The Cottage

This unique property is a former estate cottage, stylishly converted to a high standard, and located in peaceful, open countryside, just 5 minutes from Corbridge centre. 
 The cottage offers off-road parking and there are bicycle and walking equipment storage and cleaning facilities.  There is a sunny seat in front of the cottage where guests can relax and enjoy the view.

 

Within walking distance...

As well as the many walking tracks across the beautiful Tyne Valley, which are immediately accessible from the cottage, historic Dilston Castle and chapel is only five minutes walk away.  Fifteen minutes walk brings you to the unique Dilston Physic Garden above the Devil’s Water.  Corbridge village, with its exclusive shops, pubs, restaurants and peaceful riverside paths is a thirty-minute walk away. 

We have lived in the area for many years and are more than happy to advise guests on local amenities, dining, walks and tourist attractions.

 

Accommodation

The accommodation comprises of a beautifully presented, sunny, twin bedroom with stunning views across fields and woods.  Luxurious beds, linen and towels, in addition to coffee and tea-making facilities ensure our guests’ comfort.
 
 Across the hall is a cosy and comfortable private sitting room with an open fire, television, DVD and CD player as well as a small and eclectic library of books. Down the hall is a private bathroom with bath/shower, bidet and toilet with toiletries provided.
 
 An aga-cooked full English breakfast, using locally sourced ingredients, is served in the beautiful kitchen, or on summer mornings it can be taken on the terrace overlooking the garden.
